K-9 Sabre is a European Shepherd brought to the U.S. in 1997. He and His partner Sgt. Michael Bond is certified through the American Canine Trainers Association. Sabre has trained in narcotics, article and person searches, and crowd control. Besides Delmar, He has done work for the Maryland State Police, Delaware State Police, Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, Salisbury, Police Department, Fruitland Police, Laurel Police, Seaford Police, and the D.E.A.
As of October 2004, he has seized over $1 Million in Asset and Drug Seizures. Sabre is very committed to His Duty and loves to go to work, but is also a loving family member and is highly loyal to his partner Sgt. Bond.
